March the Month – Stepping Up for Prostate Cancer UK
Today marks the first day of March the Month, and I’m excited to be taking part in this important challenge to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK. Throughout March, I’ll be walking 11,000 steps a day, representing each of the 11,000 men who lose their lives to prostate cancer every year.
Why I’m Doing This
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, and early detection can save lives. With a strong community of model railway enthusiasts—many of whom are men—it’s a cause that feels especially close to home. By taking part in March the Month, I hope to raise awareness within our hobby and beyond, encouraging more conversations about men’s health.
