Workshop Updates: Servicing & Sorting Through a Job Lot

It’s been a bit of a hectic week, and I’ve not had much time to work on my own layout. Most of my time has been spent sorting through a recent job lot of items—checking what’s in there, seeing what needs work, and preparing everything for the second-hand section of the shop. It’s always interesting going through these collections, as you never quite know what you’ll find!

On the servicing side, I’ve had a couple of locos in the workshop this week—a Graham Farish N Gauge shunter and a steam locomotive. Nothing too major this time, just standard servicing to get them running smoothly again. A good clean, fresh lubrication, and a check over the key components are usually all it takes to bring these models back to life.

Hopefully, I’ll find some time to get back to my own layout soon, but for now, it’s full steam ahead with repairs and sorting stock!
